I'm still looking for work. Seems as though there aren't as many people looking to hire lately, at least that was it seems like from the paper and stuff. Blue Frog has officially let EVERYONE go. The only staff they have is the kitchen and the two Managers. Yep. They were probably given the same "you're not fired or anything, we just can't fit you on the schedule" bit.
Corey's 30th Birthday was this last Tuesday, so we (finally) settled on the going ahead and having a SuperBowl/Birthday party for Sunday; just something small to celebrate it. We ended up having 10 to 12 people drop in.
Everyone had a really good time. Everyone stayed happy, even if they lost a bet! (hehehe) Corey's brother, Chris, brought a cake, and I made junk food and all that stuff. Corey ended up getting a call for a job (last minute) and was very frustrated (at a few details...plus:) at having to get up at 3:30a the next day. However, I guess everyone just started visiting and goofing off, that he didn't really care quite so much. After everyone left he was still pumped up, so he clapped his hands together and asked if he could open somthing. See, you have to understand corey. He doesn't show excitement about these kinds of things blantantely, y'know. It was cute. And, I'm glad everyone had a good time!

Josh and I took him out to dinner Tuesday night, as well. Shannon was supposed to come too, but she had some family things to tend to. But, she is NOT in any of the pictures because she is a prude that thinks that she HAS to get up at 5a EVERY morning to work out. Ppssshhh. (oh, come on. I'm kidding. I admire her for her drive. lol)

On work...and the like

I've been looking for something full-time while I have also been working at Blue Frog, and, though I get frustrated with how things are going with in the restaurant, things have been fine. I figured, however, that my hours would be more sparse considering the Holiday/Wonderland of Lights hours are now done, but I didn't expect what happened today.
I just bought corey his birthday gift, and have to get a payment in...very soon. Also, I haven't had an interview with any potientials in a while.
I was informed after a very long shift (with me doing most of the grunt work), that I was not in the schedule for any of the coming weeks. Basically, they say that they can spare hours, which I find absolutely confusing. I'm feeling a bit panicked due to this, and a little stressed.
Really bad timing, and really not done in a fair sense. I was told the main reason was because I am the newest employee ("the last to be hired on"), which is not correct. Now, I just feel mad, more than upset by the news.
I cried all the way home, and then a little more when I got here. Freakin' A, man.

I just spent a little over an hour looking on the internet for Jessica's Christmas gift. BARBIE AND HER PINK! haha I FINALLY found what she was talking about on Amazon...aaugh. Also, I think I found a good deal on Bob and Betty's gift. We'll see. If that's done, then, I'm done with Christmas except for Corey's, which should be done in the next week. (cross fingers)

Well, I can't believe Thursday is Thanksgiving. It's weird.

Hopeful Still

I had a break down day before yesterday. I don't want to waitress; I have a Bacheler of Arts degree for heaven's sakes, and lots of work experience. Well, now I'm working practically full time (which I originally was hired on for extra help for Tues and Thursdays) at Blue Frog. It's fine. The tips are a little better, but it's just something to put money towards the money I have owed Dec 1st to dear ole Sallie Mae. HEHE
Things are, perhaps, about to look a little furthur up due to the fact that Solomon Law Offices have been trying to contact me, and I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon. They need someone desperately, and it has good potential for advancement; especially since I have good processing and office experience. We shall see.
